Martin Shaw is a painter, writer and oral storyteller living and working in Devon. Author of many books, his latest, Stag Cult was recently the number one bestseller at the London Review of Books. Dr Shaw founded the Oral Tradition and Mythic Life programs at Stanford University and his conversation and catalogue with Ai Weiwei is available with the Marciano Arts Foundation. He is Reader in Poetics at Dartington Arts School.
